Miley Cyrus faz Pole Dance no Teen Choice Awards e gera polêmica!

Three days after her performance of new single "Party in the U.S.A." at the Teen Choice Awards, Miley Cyrus is still facing controversy over the risqué number, which featured a prominent pole and some questionable dance moves

Cyrus appeared at the Sunday night (Aug. 9) awards show, which was broadcast the following night on Fox, to perform "Party in the U.S.A.," the lead single from her August 31 mini album for Walmart, "The Time of Our Lives." The sixteen-year-old singer emerged onstage wearing a tank top, hip-hugging shorts and boots and at one point straddled what resembled a stripper pole protruding from an ice cream cart.Fans immediately took to the Internet to debate over whether Cyrus' performance was inappropriate for her age and young fanbase, while Disney Channel, the home to Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" show, seemed eager to avoid being linked to the controversy."Disney Channel won't be commenting on that performance," the network said in a statement, "although parents can rest assured that all content presented on the Disney Channel is age-appropriate for our audience - kids 6-14 - and consistent with what our brand values are."Meanwhile, the buzz over "Party in the U.S.A." continues to grow. The song debuts this week at No. 40 on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 chart and is currently the No. 1 song on iTunes, paving the way for a splashy debut on next week's Hot 100 chart ,
